Seek a highly experienced algorithms and signal processing engineer to work on LiDAR related sensor signal processing and computation problems. The successful candidate will collaborate with R&D personnel to develop and implement sensor signal processing algorithms that gets implemented in analog, mixed signal, digital chips. Previous experience in computer vision and robotics is a plus.
Responsibilities :
• Design and write simulations for cutting-edge signal/image processing algorithms in MATLAB and C/C++.
• Exhibit knowledge of LiDAR system fundamentals and waveform processing.
• Develop software for DSP and FPGA based on PC algorithms written in C/C++.
• Optimize signal processing software for latency and frame rate.
• Enhance existing PC based algorithm development tools.
• Deliver algorithms, architecture and modeling solutions for high volume integrated circuits.
• Create presentations and document algorithms for sharing concepts with the team. Contribute to the technical leadership of the organization and provide substantial input to R&D decisions
Requirements:
• Expertise in communication theory, signal processing, error correcting codes, information theory, probability and random processes.
• Highly proficient in C/C++, Python, and / or MATLAB.
• 5+ years' industry experience in developing efficient algorithms and models for analog, mixed signal and digital signal processing.
• Working knowledge with Verilog/System Verilog.
• Self-motivated individual with the ability to work and communicate effectively within a development group is desired. Ability to work in a team environment and negotiate solutions with Hardware / Software Engineering and Systems Engineering
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
